Chip joined the team at Drake Development in May 2021. As Director of Capital Markets, he is responsible for evaluating development opportunities while assisting in the sourcing of debt and equity capital. Chip brings a varied skillset to the team, with experience in investment analysis and financial modeling, investor relations and asset management.
Prior to joining Drake Development, Chip held the title of Senior Financial Analyst at Kansas City-based Block Real Estate Services, LLC, where he specialized in underwriting institutional-quality acquisition and development opportunities for the firm’s syndicated partnerships. Chip began his real estate career at Affordable Equity Partners, Inc., a national affordable housing developer and investor, where he served as Asset Manager for the firm’s Missouri portfolio. Chip is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Kansas.
Born and raised in Springfield, MO, Chip earned his undergraduate business degree in Finance & Real Estate from the University of Missouri – Columbia. When not working, Chip enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors and traveling as often as possible.
