Tara Smiley, CCIM is the Managing Partner and a founding partner of Drake Development and Drake Health.
She oversees all aspects of the development process from project feasibility to project completion including site acquisition, contract and lease negotiations, project entitlements; construction management, and property disposition.
With nearly fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate development, Tara has completed more than $750 million in development projects. Tara pulls from her background of insurance and financial services, construction estimating, asset management, and development management to provide a unique perspective on commercial development.
Tara is a graduate of Park University with a degree in Business Management. She serves on the Board of Directors for CREW Kansas City and WIRED KC as well as holding a CCIM Designation. Tara enjoys life in the country in Fort Scott, Kansas with her husband Bryan.
